MY HERO ACADEMIA: ULTIMATE SET TO LAUNCH ON ROBLOX THIS WEEKEND

Roblox Players Are Preparing to Go Beyond Starting September 6, 2025

LOS ANGELES, SEPTEMBER 4, 2025 — My Hero Academia: Ultimate, a PvP-focused, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the world of the beloved anime franchise, officially launches exclusively on Roblox Saturday, September 6, 2025. Developed by Gamefam in partnership with Crunchyroll, This isn’t just another Roblox or anime game - it aims to evolve how anime comes to life in gaming, pushing visual quality, effects, design depth, and fan immersion beyond the norm for Roblox.

My Hero Academia: Ultimate showcases the platform’s most advanced capabilities: real-time multiplayer battles, deep character progression, console-quality visual effects, and a persistent, ever-expanding world brought to life through live updates and ongoing events as well as voiceover from the series.

As one of the first officially licensed anime games on Roblox, My Hero Academia: Ultimate immerses players in the dynamic My Hero Academia universe with their friends, from training to become a Pro Hero at U.A. High, to battling as fan-favorite heroes and taking down villains, to unlocking “Quirks” and unmatched combat abilities. Across 60+ hours of core content and thousands of additional hours with ongoing new events, characters, and updates, players will be able to collect and unlock four heroes at launch, each with nine  different abilities, costumes, skills, and emotes, making every hero’s journey uniquely their own.

My Hero Academia: Ultimate users will:

  • Play as and collect up to four heroes from My Hero Academia – Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, Katsuki “Kacchan” Bakugo, Ochaco "Uravity" Uraraka, and Tenya "Turbo Hero: Ingenium" Ida. 

  • Take on enemies from the show and fight with other players to work up to becoming the top hero.

  • Go on quests to unlock abilities, level up their characters to get stronger, use powerful abilities and “Quirks”, and race up the leaderboards.

  • Ultimately battle other players in skilled-based combat anywhere players encounter each other in the game’s open world map as well as in a special arena mode, inspired by Season 2 of the series (the UA Games).

  • Explore and battle in scenes from the show including:

    • UA Stadium (PvP arena)

    • All Might Plaza (lobby)

    • Musutafu Suburbs

    • Takoba Municipal Beach Park

    • UA High School

    • Heights Alliance (dorms)

    • Ground Beta

    • Ruined City

    • Musutafu Construction Site

This visually stunning, content-rich world was designed first and foremost for My Hero Academia fans. With premium animations, lighting, and cinematic-quality VFX, every corner of My Hero Academia: Ultimate has been crafted to bring the anime to life like never before. Whether it’s the shimmer of a Deku Smash or the destruction left by a Nomu, every frame bursts with visual energy that rivals full-fledged console games.

Anime has been a top genre on Roblox because fans can experience anime worlds and powers with friends on massively multiplayer servers. But multiplayer 3D anime games like My Hero Academia: Ultimate are unusual; not only have anime games historically been unofficial fan creations, but they have usually focused on delivering either player progression or combat-depth, but rarely both. 

My Hero Academia: Ultimate sets a new standard for how beloved anime franchises can come to life on user-generated gaming platforms like Roblox. All episodes of My Hero Academia are available to stream on Crunchyroll, subtitled and dubbed. My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON premieres this fall on Saturday, October 4, 2025 on Crunchyroll.

My Hero Academia is a Japanese anime series based on the popular comics by Kohei Horikoshi. It is set in a world where about 80% of the population has a superpowered Quirk. Heroes protect people and society from accidents, disasters, and villains—criminals who use their Quirks for evil. The story of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates at U.A. High School and their growth, fights, and friendship unfolds as they aim to become heroes. The anime series will release its eighth and final season in Fall 2025
