FIFA Club World Cup teams will be playable in Super League Soccer, the latest part of FIFA’s push to make it the most widely accessible club football tournament ever

Tournament sponsors join the event, many appearing on Roblox for the first time, offering fans a real feel of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™

LOS ANGELES, June 13, 2025 – Today, FIFA and Gamefam, the leading metaverse media company for Gen Z and Alpha communities, announced that FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ is coming to Super League Soccer on Roblox for a large-scale event leading into the tournament. Launching Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Super League Soccer, the official FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ event features 13 of the tournament’s participating clubs — including Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Boca Juniors — available as playable teams for the first time on Roblox. The experience will reflect real-life FIFA Club World Cup look and feel including branding and FIFA sponsor presence, with virtual merch and pitch-side signage that bring the real-world energy of the tournament into the game.

Set in a fully FIFA Club World Cup themed environment, the limited-time activation in Super League Soccer lets fans compete as top clubs, unlock exclusive FIFA Club World Cup-branded gear, and engage with live tournament content. With the FIFA Club World Cup expanding from 7 to 32 teams and becoming a global cultural spectacle like never before, FIFA is focused on immersing new fans in the passion and spirit of the game. This is part of FIFA's broader objective to make esports and gaming more accessible, offering fans across the globe a wide range of digital football experiences.

With FIFA’s global impact and its worldwide known events and Super League Soccer’s impact as one of the top sports games on Roblox with over 725 million visits to date and 550K average daily gameplay sessions, the collaboration is set to reach GenZ and GenAlpha audiences across the world. The campaign in Super League Soccer includes:

  • Immersive Gameplay: Players will compete in a FIFA Club World Cup-style tournament against other players and complete unique challenges to earn points for missions related to winning matches, scoring goals, successful slide tackles and saves, and more.

  • Exclusive Virtual Merch: Players will redeem their points to unlock exclusive branded rewards:

    • FIFA Club World Cup-branded items: shoes, gloves, hats, official tournament soccer balls, goal effects and more

  • Direct Interaction with Clubs: For the first time, clubs like Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Boca Juniors, Al Hilal, Fluminense FC, CF Monterrey, SL Benfica, Red Bull Salzburg and more will be playable on Roblox. 

  • FIFA Club World Cup Tracking: The game will feature live tracking of the FIFA Club World Cup – as results go final, the bracket will be updated in game.  

  • Tournament Sponsors: In addition to activating for the event with broadcast advertisements, in-stadium signage and social media content, FIFA sponsors will appear in game with virtual merch and pitch-side signage.

This event marks the second major collaboration between FIFA and Gamefam. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will bring together 32 elite teams from all six confederations, with the action set to kick off on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Fans can join the FIFA Club World Cup event in Super League Soccer starting Saturday, June 14, 2025, and running for a limited time through Sunday, July 13, 2025. The experience will be available for free on Roblox across consoles, PCs, mobile, and tablets, delivering an engaging and interactive soccer experience for players worldwide.
