Marks the first time fans can play as the Mexico National Team on Roblox – and the biggest Roblox activation from a Mexican sports organization

TOLUCA & LOS ANGELES, JUNE 3, 2026 – As Mexico prepares to co-host FIFA World Cup 2026™, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) today announced it will launch a limited-time event for the Mexican National Team in Gamefam’s hit Roblox game FIFA Super Soccer. Mexico is the third and final host nation to activate in the game, following U.S. Soccer and Canada Soccer.
The event is timely, with Mexico set to co-host the FIFA World Cup for the third time, across multiple venues. The activation will generate excitement for the Mexican National Team following the FIFA World Cup 2026TM roster reveal, the Men’s National Team sendoff matches against Australia and Serbia, and ultimately their FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign this summer.
The campaign details are as follows:
Play in Mexico’s Official adidas FIFA World Cup 2026TM Kit: Users can play as the Mexican National Team in their new 2026 adidas kits, allowing players to wear it in the game before they’re worn in FIFA World Cup 2026TM. It’ll be the biggest Roblox activation from a Mexican sports organization.
Interactive Mascot: Mexico mascot Kin (a Mayan magician) is a central piece of the event, leading players on their quest through FIFA Super Soccer.
Quest: Players will participate in a limited-time quest, completing Mexico-themed challenges including scoring goals, creating assists, and playing matches.
Community Challenge: FIFA Super Soccer players will be challenged to complete 500K matches as FMF, to unlock a Mexico soccer ball prize.
Exclusive Player Rewards: Players who complete the quest will earn a unique in-game avatar reward – Mexico goalie gloves.
The official FIFA game on Roblox has been a hit with young soccer fans – recently reaching an all-time high of 60K concurrent players, accumulating over 1.1 billion lifetime gameplay sessions, and averaging 1.5 million daily gameplay sessions. FIFA Super Soccer lets players compete as official clubs and national teams, celebrate the road to the FIFA World Cup 2026™, and unlock exclusive FIFA and FIFA World Cup™ gear to outfit their avatars. The partnership follows U.S. National Team, Brazil National Team and Borussia Dortmund activations in FIFA Super Soccer.
The move is part of the Mexican National Team’s expanding Roblox footprint – ensuring the organization continues its efforts to engage the next generation of soccer fans on the platform where they spend the most time. Roblox now reaches 132 million daily active users, who spend more than 2.5 hours per day on the platform. It marks the biggest Roblox activation from a Mexican sports organization.
